The 316 type stainless steel maintains its structural integrity in the face of harsh chemicals and salt water. Not only is the Titen HD stainless steel corrosion resistant in multiple environments, but its serrated carbon steel lead threads undercut the concrete, giving it additional holding power.
To install the Titen HD Stainless Steel THD37500H6SS, use a 3/8″ drill bit and driver to drill a fixture hole 1/2” to 9/16”. Driving the screw is fast and easy. Type 300 stainless steel screw anchors have different corrosion resistant properties for different environments. While Type 316 is the optimal choice for applications in corrosive environments such as salt water, or when chemical solutions are present, type 304 is a cost effective solution for less extreme, damp, moist or wet applications.
