The Titen HD Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel THD37400H6SS 3/8” x 4” is Simpson Strong-Tie’s innovative concrete and masonry screw anchor for highly exposed applications. THDSS 316 stainless steel resists corrosion from chemicals and saltwater while maintaining its structural integrity. The Titen HD Stainless Steel THD37400H6SS has serrated carbon steel lead threads which undercut the concrete making way for the following threads, and allow the concrete to interlock with it.
Type 300 series stainless steel screw anchors have different corrosion resistant properties for different environments. While Type 316 is the optimal choice for applications in corrosive environments such as salt water, or when chemical solutions are present, type 304 is a cost effective solution for less extreme, damp, moist or wet applications. To install the Titen HD Stainless Steel THD37400H6SS, use a bit and impact wrench to drill a fixture hole 1/ 2” to 9/16”. Driving the screw is fast and easy.
