Installers appreciate the centering tip for easy spot drilling, along with the uniformly brazed carbide inserts resulting in extended bit life.
This bit is manufactured for efficiency with a chisel-shaped head that easily penetrates material while preventing sticking in concrete and removing dust upon use. Drilling speed is amplified on this bit with a patented, high-volume, multi-flute spiral. It comes heat-treated with a shot-peened finish to increase surface hardness, while reducing drill bit wear and improving its bending resistance.
